The MR-2944 annunciator driver is capable of controlling up to 576 LEDs for use with columnar or graphic annunciators. An optional 80 character (4 x 20) LCD display can be used to display text messages. There are sixteen switch inputs that can be used for various system functions such as lamp test, trouble silence, general alarm, etc. LEDs are interfaced to the annunciator driver using MR-2902 annunciator strips or MR-2915 LED drivers.

Communication to the MR-2900  control panel requires the use of the same MR-2910 boards that the MR-2900 uses. The MR-2944 has non-volatile memory capacity to hold database messages.
