MR28-9001/MR28-9002 Remote Dialer Modules
MR28-9121/MR28-9122 Remote City Tie Modules
Existing installations of model series MR-2900 or MR2920 fire alarm
control panels that require the addition of a digital dialer
function or reverse polarity municipal box (city) module can use
these remote models without impacting present cabinet space.
These remote modules mount close to the existing panel using a
small cabinet equipped with a locking door. Communication to
the control panel are via the external annunciator bus.
Dialer Module MR28-9001 provides a
digital alarm communicating transmitter
(DACT) that will communicate alarm, supervisory, and
trouble conditions to a Central Station using Contact ID, SIA, or
10/20 BPS communications formats. Three telephone numbers
are supported and test transmissions are fully programmable
including selectable power fail delay reporting.
City Option Module MR28-9121/9122
supervises alarm, supervisory, and
trouble conditions. Outputs are selectable for Remote
Station (Reverse Polarity or Municipal Master Box (Local Energy
Coil) operation.
Isolator Modules are required when the Dialer or City Module is
used on a system that also supports a serially connected remote
annunciator.
Programming of the dialer features
is accomplished using the convenient interface of the
Secutron Modul-R Human Interface programmer.
The MRDL Digital Alarm Communicator Transmitter (DACT) module is added to the MR-2100 and MR-2200 system to
provide Remote Station monitoring of system
alarms, troubles, and supervisory conditions.
Communications are available for : Contact ID, SIA, or 10/20 bps
formats. Use of the DACT module requires that two telephone lines
be provided for connection to the DACT. Service must be arranged with a
Central Station monitoring facility for Remote Station Service. (MRDL
is not ULC listed).
